Dennis Maxwell

Lead Producer

Dennis Maxwell (@dennistmaxwell), he/him, is an award-winning podcast producer who was born in Santiago, Chile. The first significant present he received as a boy was a camera. At that moment Dennis began to dedicate himself to capturing images. Later on, he started telling stories. Dennis traveled to California following promises of gold. After working in a hundred different fields, he studied film. Some years ago, he stumbled upon radio, they liked each other, and since then he's used sound to tell the stories that follow him.

Dennis's podcast stories have been recognized on two occasions by the Third Coast International Audio Festival with the "Best Documentary Award: Foreign Language" in the years 2017 and 2020, and by the International Radio Biennial of Mexico, in the Human Rights category, in the year 2021. His work has been featured in outlets such as the New York Times Op-Docs, the KQED “Spark” series, Providencia Film Festival (Chile), Festival Internacional Global Bogotá (Colombia), BBC Mundo, Radio Ambulante, Public Radio International’s The World, and Las Raras Podcast.
